Hey yall, I don't know if this is of any importance or interest but just incase anyone wanted a larger original sized image of the John Titor scan I found one and put it up on my server. Here it is, it's a lot bigger than the one that is currently seen on johntitor.com, why would the johntitor.com people want to reduce the size of the image? I did a little time-travel of my own via archive.org and found that in June of 03 the image was bigger that's where I got it. It's much easier to see the little doo-dads and gizmos inside the box. I still think the John Titor thing is a hoax, created to sell books on Art Bell (Coast to Coast AM), he has like 10 million listeners, anyway, hoax or not I am still interested in it, I don't have any proof it was a hoax but if anyone does please let me know, I admit I have not researched the subject. BTW: It helps if you do research the subject some more. A lot of people here are thinking and talking about the subject for years.
 
Well I may do some research but I don't plan on investing that much time into it, sure you can save it, copy it, use it for your sites, as far as I know nobody has the image copy-righted. And if anyone does have it copy-righted, I would say they would be the hoax perpetrators. It's just for research purposes anyway, you could make a t-shirt out of it and sell em, maybe then the hoaxers will complain and reveal themselves heh j/k. :D
 
I know it looks like I'm a newbie, and my first post here was called "my first post" but really I did post on this forum back in 1999. The Time Travel Institute was not on timetravelinstitute.com back then, it was at this url: http://xone.net/tti/ , proof of this being the old url is located in this old links page: http://www.columbia.edu/cu/cusfs/links, and I'm sure there are other links pages out there with the same url.

Does anyone here remember what the TTI page looked like back then? I had forgotten, but while I was listening to Art Bell tonight, out of nowhere I was reminded exactly what the old TTI page looked like. I wouldn't be asking anyone if they remember what it looked like if I could use Archive.org to see what it looked like, but Xone.net has an archive blocker on it, see for yourself.

The point of this post: Ever since I heard about the Titor story I was 99% sure it was a fraud. But now I know 100%, that it is. The memory of the old TTI website is enough for me to know.

In 1999, when I first posted at http://xone.net/tti/, I even remember what my post was about, I remember the response someone gave me, and my response again, I probably posted no more than 5 times back then. I did visit the site enough to remember what the main page looked like. The background color of the site was dull greyish green. There were no images anywhere, except for the LOGO of the Time Travel Institute. The LOGO of the site back in 1999 is the key to me remembering.

As the logo of the Time Travel Institute's 1999 webpage is the EXACT LOGO that is known as "John Titor's Military Unit LOGO", which can be seen at johntitor.com. This is the logo:

I am 100% sure it is the same logo, of course the quality isn't the same but I am POSITIVE it is the exact same design.

I was hoping I could prove this with archive.org, but I didn't predict xone.net would have an anti-archive script, I didn't even know anti-archiving scripts existed.

Anyway, I'm sure someone has already proven it to be a hoax various other ways, but I clearly recall what the logo looked like.

Okay Raz' since you're starting here all over again and I have had advisement to this effect this is what you are looking at.

Time paired realties always barrow from one another.

They do this, in order to maintain a parity, so that such instances as timequakes do not occur.

So you know for sure now, that there is no evidence of John Titor in another and or all timelines?

Let me hold your hand on this, since I have talked to the MOP here and he said adopt a differing view.

If I build say and F-4 Phantom Jet in this dimension and then by the sensing of timelines next to one another some artifact of this construction passes through the timelines?

Then I have to ask the question, in what way in other timelines, is this model of the famed F-4 phantom reproduced?

No' Im not brow beating you, however by your say, you are taking physics and this subject does deal with radial axial polarities.

Well if this spatial physics is correct given to you, by your proff, then what of said Titor and the essence of Tirtor and all his paraphernalia in other adjoining timelines?

There has to be other timelines in order for spatial space to work.

it seems obvious to me that the titor story is a hoax but it is a very cool story to entertain as the truth. I think it would make a great movie too. I'm Just curious, as I have never had a verbal discussion about the issue and have only discussed it online, I was wondering how others pronounced the name "titor". Do you guys \ gals pronounce it as "teetor" or "slang for a female's breast+or"?

I have the same question. Never having heard it in a audio format, I am also curious as the correct pronunciation. Someone suggested Titor was short for Time Travellor, which would lead one to assume his name is pronounced T-eye-Tor, so that has been the way I have been saying his name.

I also am thinking along the lines that the saga started as a spoof and the responses to the original fabrication resulted in the creator(s) continuing to build on the results. I know that if I put time into creating a fabricated story, the name of the time traveller would be something other than Titor. I probably would have used ..oh...maybe...eh...er..Ozzy Osbourne. yeah, that would have worked!

You're correct about the pronunciation. It is T-eye-Tor.

His original name was Time Travel_O here on TTI. TTI allowed anonymous login until sometime just before he stopped posting. "Time Travel_O" was a play on words meaning "Time Traveler Or not a Time Traveler" which went along with his statement that he preferred that we not believe his story.

But Art Bell's BBS, Post-2-Post, didn't allow anonymous login. To register you had to provide a first and last name and a valid email account. To register on Bell's BBS he used "John Titor" (the last name being the contraction of Time Travel_O). He used his AOL email account, [email protected].

BTW: Though he said that he was leaving in March of 2001 the AOL account remained open until the summer of 2001. It was closed in August of 2001. I used AOL at the time and sent email to the account. It was read but unanswered. Someone was using the account for several months after March 2001.

Nope creedo I don't accept any parallel timeline muck messing up what I saw, maybe you'll see in my simple post I will be re-posting, it is clear to me, and I asked a specific question, but I can see how not many people here would've been at the original obscure site back in 1999, I am positive of my memory I will be posting the question in a more simple way in a new post, as I've had no answer, and mostly because this thread is too busy discussing how to pronounce TITOR. How I pronounce Titor is (TEA-TOR), but that's just me.

Raz' I've been through the dopple ganger phenomenon myself.

This happened to me in a medium sized town to where a fellow by the name of Eddie Waters looked and acted exactly like me.

Once I saw this guy from a distance and it literally freaked me out!

It came to a head when I was washing my car at a outdoor carwash and this guy came up to me and we started to chat.

He finally came out and had asked, Eddie, how long are you going to keep this up and pretend youre another person.

I got real close to the guy, who seemed like a nice looking fellow and said, I don't know where you got this, but Im not Eddie Waters".

I think that timelines produce a number of copies of us and sometimes, either by design or happenstance they come across timelines.

You probably have copies of you and they may have even come into this timeline, but you just don't know it.

This timeline and Ill say this so you are sure that you understand, can not exist unless it has a copy of it something like it elsewhere.

You say you taking college physics?......Well this is simple Einsteinium reality law.
