Not necessarily stopped but perhaps delayed or minimized. Only time will tell. If you look at current events, there seems to be seeds of unrest. The ongoing debate of Civil liberties vs. security, or the 37,000 distraught and angry families, victims of hurricane Katrina who feel abandoned, who will need to move from temporary housing to find permanent homes. Even the tragic mining accident in WV reveals frustrations of rural residents being fed misinformation and what appears to be a lack of some kind of apology from the mining company or anyone at this point for the leak of this misinformation. A small, close-knit town that’s trying to deal with tragedy is overwhelmed by the influx of media. In my opinion, the signs are still here at this time. I’m sure others can identify more.

Only a time traveler from his era would know this, as it was mentioned by John Titor, "Don't go more than a mile near a hungry man".

You are right... But Titor gave us the 'script' and the 'countdown' in a compelling story form... 'They' don't like have their script publicly posted... Hence, debunkers like RainmanTime and Darby who have obvious connections to the Industrial Military Congressional Entertainment Complex....

Nobody know what The hell their talking about. The NWO owns all of you. Figure out why that is and you can possibly escape. Nobody is going to stop them or defeat them because everyone follows them as it is and nobody believes they are. The majority of the planet is already on their strings and everybody plays their puppet game as if they didn't care. Nobody really cares yet, and nobody will until we've already got in line for the sluaghter like the sheep you all are, and then they tell you, you can't leave.
Our "freedom" is kept at an equilibrium between total control, and anarchy. Though, steps are taken by those in power to step off the equilibrium towards total control. These steps are the precursor to a very messy ending. Forcing "Total control" will result in Anarchy and vice versa. That is what is going to happen and there is nothing you can do short of survive it.
