Okay, I have been looking at this John Titor guy figure lately, And I think that there is a possible way to track this titor guy down if he is a real person....
Okay, step 1: go to one of titors posts and look at his ip address. step 2: go to a IP address tracking website and then you type it in and it should tell his exact location if possible.

I hate to burst your bubble, but... if you honestly think this simple "solution" has not already been addressed, then that means you have not read near enough about the "Titor Saga". I would encourage you to spend a LOT more time reading the posts here, and you will see why your suggestion amounts to "asked and answered."

You can find his internet service provider then from that maybe figure out what part of the country he is in. Other than that you would have to have a court order to get his personal information. Of course he is a real person. I just don,t think he is a time traveler.

When Titor/TimeTravel_0 posted it was primarily (99%) here and on Art Bell's old Post-2-Post forum. At that time neither site site displayed user IP's to general members. Only the SysAdmins had access to the IP's. In other words three people had access: Raul here and Keith and Mary Rowland on Post-2-Post. The TOS Agreements in effect at the time on both sites guaranteed users that our IP's and other registration information would not be revealed to anyone by the sites. It's a contract and they aren't going to violate it - especially not when the first thing that Boomer (Titor) did after he stopped posting was to lawyer up.
