If John Titor 1 were here, what would you think he would say about the Camp Minden bunker explosion that probably most of you don't know anything about -- that just happened?
 
Thanks Daver, Titor would no doubt say that the civil war has started. Although in actuality it was a simple mistake or random act of nature.
 
Considering that multiple witnesses reported an object falling from the sky, even before the pillar of smoke appeared cannot just be a coincidence.

In the book, the protagonist lives in the mythical town of "Fort Repose", while Titor claimed to live in the "Fort", formerly the University of Florida (UF).

An Italian TV program (Voyager – Ai confini della conoscenza) aired an investigation of the John Titor story on May 19, 2008.[25] Mike Lynch, the private detective hired to investigate, found that there were no registry traces, even far in the past, of any John Titor or Titor family. In addition, he discovered that there was a company that was called the John Titor Foundation. The John Titor Foundation is a for-profit Florida LLC that was formed September 16, 2003. It had no office, and it only had a rented post box with the address PMB 237, 7862 W IRLO BRONSON HWY, KISSIMMEE FL 34747; no tapes, recordings, or evidence of Titor were found; and only Larry Haber, the CEO of the John Titor Foundation and an entertainment lawyer in Celebration, Florida, confirmed his existence. Lynch's conclusion is that John Titor may be John Rick Haber, a computer expert who is Larry Haber's brother.
 
If Titor was real time traveller (and he certainly was not),, he would surely be sensible enough not to use his real name- so, those findings are a little daft. Pointing out the bleedin' obvious as they say in the UK.
Any fool can see it is a name taken from two appropriate words and abbreviated.

Not every fool, Dave. I see you're smart enough to know that John Titor would never use his real name or the real location of his upbringing. Alas Babylon is a very popular science fiction book of an apocalyptic world. But it isn't as popular as the Mad Max movies. It is the perfect source of fiction to obfuscate the truth. Showing the real time machine surrounded by old Civil Defense equipment with the labels clearly showing in order to raise doubt -- was also very clever.
 
There have been too many explosions in the span of a month. Louisiana, Kentucky and Indiana. All have been conveniently explained away. But I tell you, something else is going on.

John, why are you obsessed with the Titor stuff so much? Even to a sort of qausi religious level!

You are basing your perception of the world on the postings supposedly made by a Time Traveller to the point of taking his every word and breaking them down to the bare bones- and quoting and interpreting their meaning to fit almost every single every day occurrence.
Why such an overriding obsession?

By doing this, and by mentioning him in almost every post you make- you are basically calling people who know much more about the Titor postings liars, or if not- maybe you are suggesting people like Darby have a hidden agenda.

Either Darby etc. have a reason to debunk with good reason, or they have a hidden agenda.
Or, you just want to blindly believe- cos you like a mystery or conspiracy?
Or, you yourself could have a hidden agenda?
Perhaps you are trying to resurrect this Titor stuff to gain interest, as you may be involved in the hoax in some way?

If you believe so strongly, can you give us all here one single ounce of SOLID evidence to prove that a Time Traveller existed- especially one who used the pseudonym Titor.

That would be very nice- and would relieve the tedium somewhat, and make this place a little more interesting - and exciting in the same breath.

No, you don't agree with me. In the early days you were the rabid "I gotta prove this is a hoax by any means" person. I've never said it was a hoax. I have said that it is obviously a fictional story told online for commercial purposes (to sell coffee mugs, t-shirts, books, radio programs, movies, etc.). That's not a hoax. That's a business. In this particlar instance the John Titor Foundation, LLC (Florida).

Of course you were also the person who wanted to know if I would help with pulling off a time travel hoax of your own. As was the case of assisting you in going to extreme lengths to "prove that this is a hoax," I likewise declined to assist in fomenting a time travel hoax on this or any other site.

No, I won't forget. But this instance is wholly RenUnconscious.

That might be what bothers me the most about John Thomas (which is not his name, of course). John wants to leave these little hints that indicate a desire to lead people into belief that he's John Titor. He's obviously not Boomer but he'd like for people, even just a few, to think that he is. Why? Going back to 2002 when he wanted to pull off a time travel hoax of his own in order to show The Believers (John Titor believers) what sort of idiots they must be if he could also fool them with a hoax of his own. It's a weak effort but it is an effort.
