Jim Sparks Theory

Chrono Cadet
This guy claims he has had abduction experiences for over 20 years and remembers clearly the abductions. He claims also that during his abductions he has discovered that time travel is fact and possible. This is a speech he gave at the MUFON 2011 Symposium. He talks about his theory, time travel, and his abductions. What do you guys think... is he on to something?

I Dunno :) This guy really scares me. I have studied his material quite extensively, but when he talks about Aliens "Hi -Jacking" your soul when you die and take control of it with out allowing you to ascend......makes me a bit skeptical

Yeah that threw me off too.... but I have learned in life, in ever lie there is a ring of truth. So you kind of have to ask yourself, how much of it is insanity and lies... what is left must be truth. Plus there is perception. He is telling things from his own mental perspective of occurrence.

So at the end of his talk he refers to "the crap" - especially crap about "the money."

Did anyone bother to see if he's part of "the crap" that he refers to? The money.

He may not be raking it in but he's tried. Three books. Here's one: (US Copyright Office Online)

"Pseudonym, author of pseudonymous work, employer for hire."Anyone other than me know what that means? It's a bit of a hoot.

Anyway, I suppose that the real test of whether you Believe in this guy is when he comes up to you and asks you to invest in him, would you? I mean would you "sell the house, quit the job and move to Las Vegas" to invest in his time machine (if he offered the opportunity)?

I would not go as far as investing in him, but he does have some good points to make you think.

I listened to the whole thing. It's a nice story. Nothing verifiable. He kind of reminds me of a preacher. Always a message to go along with the story.

Why wouldn't you invest in him? As einstein points out, "Nice story." But what gives you pause not to invest if he asked? And what does he make you think about?

Never mind the meme.

I dunno about this. I'm expecting a higher level of severity and obsession from the guy who discovered the ultimate truth™. He's selling paper back books and making speaking appearances, and that's fine if you're Tony Robbins.

If he's the one guy who knows for a fact that aliens AND time travel are real, and his life has been touched by both personally. Maybe it's not all that fantastic. Maybe he has great coping skills and an solid entrepreneurial spirit. Or maybe he's just full of shit.

His story is too fantastical. His talk of alien abduction and soul hijacking kills the believability of his story. However some of what he says is really thought out and has a ring of truth in its design. I could be wrong, but that is just how I see it.

Like your signature states, "Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand" ~ Albert Einstein. A lot of truths come from the imagination. What we perceive as the imagination turns into a reality by prompting others to create them. Case in point.... StarTrek. Many of the technologies we have came from that show such as the tricorder being the precursor to the cellphone and they are currently working on teleportation. Even though the guys ideas are a bit on the fantastical side (OK, a lot on the fantastical side) his perceptions could create ideas to make it a reality.

My favorite author is Louis L'Amour. His westerns were fiction but, when he mentioned a landmark, the location of a spring, a technique a character used to accomplish something, "those" things were real. A "good" fictional story will have bits of truth in it. I've seen many a sci-fi story that had way too much BS in it to be enjoyable.
