It\'s not what you think it is

I just have to say that (and I am sure that I am speeking for many people) that time travel is something very hard to picture and comprehend. But I think that we are getting away from the fact that time and space are independent from one another and are not set in stone as one. So it is like we have to different dimensions that we can say measure, do experiments in, whatever. But just because we can do something in one, something like talk, walk, work, and so on, doesn't mean that we can do it in the other. If time and space were unified into one, then yes, what you do in one is done in the other, only because it would then act as one. But again because they are independent of one another, we just might not be able to "move" in time just cause we can "move" space. Yes, the two do have effects and consequences of one another-you walk 10 feet and it took you ten seconds-but you can not say that you walked ten seconds and took ten feet. I think that this might restrict us to travel in time. We just might be only confined to space-parrallel universes. Just a thought-please write your thoughts.

So space is where you move and time is where you stand still. I think your "thinker" thinks pretty well. Why daydream when you could be reading and learning instead. Check out DD133.x section at any decent library. Read 10 or 15 of the right books and you'll be telling us how it all works.

RE: It\'s not what you think it is

Hey, Shadow, I think that you should go to any decent library and maybe look a few up yourself cause I haven't seen any of your own posts. All you do is critize people of what they and yet you have nothing to show of your own. Lets here what you say, oh wait, it must be crap and you can't come up with anything of your own. Please....loser

RE: It\'s not what you think it is

Hey this is really smooth. The first compliment I pass out in months and lookat what I get back.

Also, if you look at YOUR 2nd post here very, very closely you will see why I don't bother to tell people anything. It's so much more easy and effective to trip them up with their own foolish words.

Ok, ok, so maybe you have already read the whole friggen library, how would I know. My mistake.

I merely paraphrased what you said in your first post: Space is about motion, time is about being (stationary). Static vs kenetic. I agree. Come to think of it I agreed with molemanns post a few days ago. He didn't much like that either.
