Hey everyone,
I'm Cosmo, the current custodian of Time Travel Institute. Some of you might recognize me from my time at @Num7 's Paranormalis, but for those who don't, I'll give you a peek behind the scenes of my journey here.
I've been tinkering with forums since the early 2000s, starting with Paranormalis back when it was just timetravelforum.net. I was one of those guys with too much time on my hands and a love for front-end tinkering; HTML, CSS, all that good stuff. Long story short, the admin handed me the keys one day, and the journey of running a forum began. From there, it morphed into paranormalnetwork.net, and later Paranormalis, and I learned a lot by trial, error and curiosity.
Life got busy and I handed the torch to Num around 2009, but I never really left the weird corners of the internet. Fast forward to 2014, married, my first kid just born, and news that TTI was about to shut down. I’d helped Mop update the site years earlier, so I stepped in and took over, hoping to preserve a place that had meant a lot to me (even though I was always a lurker).
I'm working on a series about that journey in "Lab Notes", and you can read the first post here:
Over the years, TTI went through a lot of iterations, starts and stops, and a fair amount of duct tape fixes. Family, work, and life made progress slow, but I've always been able to keep the dream alive (or at least partially online).
Recently, though, things have changed.
I "retired" from the grind, and now I run my own thing alongside my wife, and with that freedom I can finally focus on TTI the way it deserves and share some of the ideas I've always had in mind.
Our recent relaunch is the start of something exciting. there’s a lot more coming. I’m glad to be able to have it finally unfold for all of you.
Glad to finally step out and say hello again

What If? The Curiosity That Led Me to the Fringe
Late-night AM radio and the wild frontier of early internet forums were my gateways to exploring the deepest 'What ifs?'—questions that led me to John Titor, time travel, and the mysteries that lie just beyond the boundaries of conventional thought.
