Have you seen this recent photo released by Nasa? Where does it lead?

I have a hard time wrapping my mind around its size. There's no scale reference as far as I can tell. Is this 10 feet tall? 10 inches tall?

I've seen a lot of comments floating back and forth about this on random sites. It's definitely interesting, but its hard to see the scale. Some have pointed out that the rock lying further down looks like it fractured like that and the chunk slid down. Or maybe the rover dug something out beforehand.
