An obvious tell that John Titor is the times he was posting. If one looks closely at the times, it shows he is an office worker of some kind - manager, programmer or engineer.

The majority of the postings are just before 9, at lunch times or from 3:30-5:00.

These times are the principle 'goof-off' times in an office environment.

Admittedly, they are some late night postings but these are out the main pattern.

Why would a time traveler be at work?

I think he realized that all he was doing here was arguing with people and not espousing enough.

He was definetly not Titor.

My third guess for who Titor could have really been was Karl Rove, or as I call him now "Lark Over".
 
That may be true, MEM, but the Titor hoax didn't require much brains. Really, if you were a traveler from the future, would your first stop be a time travel forum?
 
If he was both, then he is an excellent role-player or not aware of his symbolic portrayls.

I don't think Rainman was Rove- I'm pretty sure whatever Rove does keeps him quite busy- with hundreds of lapdogs at his beck and call and all the disinformation he has to disseminate- Rove is definetly the Hoover of our generation.

I think Rove may have been Titor in the regard that by predicting all the "bad" stuff that would happen in the future as a wacky time traveler, as it started to come true people would inevitably link it to the time traveler Titor. That way, when people start complaining about it, THEY would get linked to a wacky time traveler story and be debunked in the process- no news would cover it, no one would believe it.

I rememeber back in '99 Bush announced he was running for President. That same day, the GOP scooped up over 250 websites- bushsucks.com etc.. This shows premeditated disinformation- stopping the flood waters before the flood came (LOL).

The whole political process has really become a sham-

-Big business makes small profits on super-large volumes.
-As such, if they make an additional .1% profit, they're making millions.
-In a truly competitive market such as big business, ultimately the only way to make that extra .1% is by bending some law.
-To prevent the law from coming after them, they give money to lobbyists- private individuals like Abramoff who butter up politicians for a living.

-At the same time, lobbyists are people who have staffed offices full of PhD's who have no company charter... they just exist.

-Big business goes to the lobbyist, tells them what law they want bent, broken or changed and gives them a lot of money.
-The lobbyists then butter up the politicians.

-If the politicians don't do what the lobbyists want, they won't get any money come re-election time. In fact, the lobbyists will switch sides and start a smear campaign against that politician who won't play ball.

-The end-result of this is politicians who live in fear of lobbyists, and knowing the lobbyists can turn on them anytime, the politicians end up serving the lobbyists.

So...
Politicians serve lobbyists,
Lobbyists serve big business,
Big business pockets the .01% which adds up to millions...
And it's all legal and nowhere in this circle are the American people.

The end-result? 40 hour work weeks that are 41.2 hours long. 30 minute lunch breaks that are 20 minutes long. Never getting health insurance. No unions. Both parents working full time just to have what their parents had with dad working and mom at home raising the family... those days are GONE.

And apart from that .1%, what does big business get out of it? More buying power. The bigger they are, the cheaper they can demand to pay for product.

The cheaper the product, the less THAT company must pay its workers to produce product at the right price point (or go out of business). This translates to third world slavery- Chinese workers making 19 cents an hour so my son can have the new Pokemon toy.

I think Titor was Rove in the regard that someone, somewhere on some computer in some lobbyist's office came up with this idea just in case all these things the GOPs wanted to do didn't turn out good. Because if the coprolite hit the fan, they will just say "Now you're believing time traveler's tales!"

Very interesting perspective...

I've had similar thoughts... But that there was a 'script' that goes along with "The Project For New American Century"

Certain events had to take place in order to setup up the Republicans as a Totalitarian Government with Imperial Quests across the Middle East.

But Titor was in one of these "Think Tanks"

He knew the plan... It was in a book like a script

The events without dates are taken in from how Titor had written them - "Titor - Track Record To Date"

He goofed off on his morning lunch and afternoon coffee breaks posting this 'time travel' story hoping someone would write them down and track them.

Hoping someone would see the plan.

There was a 'Congress Contigency' plan to replace 181 something congress people who could have been all DEMOCRATS.

That was key to picking up that PLAN in the press that made all his predictions fit.

He was telling us about a takeover of the United States of America by the Republicans.

As for RainmanTime, he was a guardian or debunker. I could go either way.

RainmanTime had a kind of admiration for me. Not as hostile to me as to others in that way I lean towards Titor.

But I lean for Debunker since he was such a rabid republican. We should have his bank accounts checked /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

They knew the plan was published.

Any coincidence or confirmation in reality MUST BE DENIED AT ALL COSTS.

But it didn't work.

I always had 'Karl Rove' pop into my head when I read RainmanTime posts. Maybe he just reported to Rove. I wouldn't doubt it.

I wasn't even looking for this thread but found it anyway. It is interesting to see though.

There are so many claims! I do not see how I could ever catch up, so many lies and obtuse angles to every story in here, so much speculation. Every possible outcome and tangent to EVERY story,trampled down in the search for truth(with good reason). People that walk in to this forum have NO idea what they are in for.
If anyone makes any statement to criticize, it has already been done before. Compliments are manipulative.Definitive Technological Theories have mostly all been discussed.


Facing the Blinding , Cold reality of never having a definitive answer to the Question,"Is Time Travel possible for a human being?" and "would it be even be useful if possible?".




Nevermind me, Just ranting.

Oh The Drama, I bet he is a nice guy too. I am just trying to make the point that reading 302 days of just jmpet's post would be hard for me to catch up on, much less what transpired beforehand.
There are so many feelings involved, you don't know what you are stepping into. I think I made my point.
