Interactive Media: A Vision of Future Newspapers

It looked like a normal newspaper. The text was the same as usual. The extraordinary thing was that there were not any pictures on the pages. Where the pictures should have been, there was grey blocks or squares.

In puzzlement, I touched one of the grey squares and it sprang to life. Instead of a single picture, it actually played a short video of the event linked to the newspaper story.

Apparently, the mechanics of this technology was based on the heat of the human body. Once touching the grey square, the heat in the touch activated some micro-motorized electronics that would play the video. Once the video played or cooled, the picture returned to a grey block.

Interesting vision, reminds me of a harry potter newspaper heh... well that's where inventions come from, dreams, ideas, visions. I remember last year I had a dream, it was really clear, one of those dreams where you think it's real til you wake up. Anyway, I was wearing a watch and my watch was like a computer screen, a medium sized watch, but it had a screen with a multicolored screen saver, like a comp monitor, and when I pressed a button the screen saver stopped and it showed the time. It was really cool, I'm sure in 10 years they will exist just as I dreamed, lots in the works now, tv watches, phone watches, pda watches etc..
