How is it possible to control where and when you go? With a Tipler cylinder, you can just go x times around it and you're y years in the past. But such schemes do not allow you to go back to before the creation of the time machine. Only wormholes allow you to go before. But when you use wormholes, how can you go to a specific time? The time machine can't search for wormholes that lead to, say, November 12, 1955 at 10:04 PM or January 23, 4567 at 8:09 AM. You can't rewind time, because if you do, you will become antimatter, and even if you're in space, you will be hit by space dust, which is matter. So what do you do?
