I am a time traveller from 1938

GuyFromThePast

Temporal Novice
I feel special since I am the only person to travel forward in time and not BACK in time.

I came forward to have something cured. My son has polio. Now I realize that it had indeed been cured.

Now I must travel back but before I go, I wanted to use this new type of typewriter and say hello.

I also want to take back something that is amazing to me; Tasty Kakes. These are scrumptious. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

so you build a time machine on a bike?? so I must ask you something how did you jump though time??
tell me did you use the Vortex or still need more informtion on how did you do it?? write back.

LOL!!

Yeah freaky, i travelled on my bike to the future once. Well i would have. Everything was going well as the temporal field started to surround the bike. But then my trousers got caught in the chain (Man i hate it when that happens!)...What a bitch!!

Aren't you a little out of character? "Why bother?"

Hasn't it come to your attention that your day and and age is on the brink
of the Second World War and that tens of millions will die in your near future?
You didn't know this. The story "it's common knowledge doesn't fly. We know better.

Why bother? If you return you will have some of the most valuable information on the planet in 1938.For example, wouldn't it be valuable to know about Microsoft before it happened? /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Packerbacker,

Why bother? If you return you will have some of the most valuable information on the planet in 1938.For example, wouldn't it be valuable to know about Microsoft before it happened?

I suppose that if he could return he could complete his mission that he seems to very humorously forgotten about. In 1938 his son has a deadly and painful disease - polio. It might give dad some comfort to know that we can prevent polio but Jonas Salk isn't going to help his son in 1938.

Hi Guy this is Doggie I just wanted to ask you four questions so here they are and thanks for answering all of these questions and thanks for listening and your time and patience:

1. Where from? How old?

2. How does your time machine operate in general and private?

3. What kind of entertainment and transportation do you have in 1938?

4. What kind of food and water or soda do you have in 1938?

thanks for everything and thanks in advance and thanks for being cool and honest with me and I hope you have a good day well I will talk with you again later on and see ya later!

Hi Doggie 186.

You make me feel really, really old. I was born in 1937, and some memories--of the early 40's --seem like they're happening now.

Now that I think about it, I traveled through time to get here now, right? /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

A book that will answer your questions, and put you in that time frame is The Grapes Of Wrath by John Steinbeck (Steinbeck is a New Dealer, though, and the book is a masterpiece of political propaganda, in my opinion).

Adam,

3. What kind of entertainment and transportation do you have in 1938?

Entertainment in 1938 was provided by Josef Stalin, Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini and Hideki Tojo. They entertained the world until the summer of 1945. To say the least, they knocked their audiences dead...about 50,000,000 dead audience members to be a bit more precise.

Now that's entertainment. Coca-Cola was the drink of choice I hear. But no time machines. We didn't even discover the neutron until 1932 (Sir James Chadwick).

if ur from 1938 how do u know how to use a COMPUTER???? did you use a time machine learn how to use one go back in time and show yourself lol.
