How Does Lifespan Affect Perception of Time?

Greetings TTI'ers:

Einstein told us that "all things are relative". When we say "things" we are referring to that Massive SpaceTime Matrix of "stuff". Mass is relative. Space is relative. And yes, Time is also relative. Relative to the observer, that is.

This is another explanation for what I mean when I say Time (and Mass and Space) are "illusions". Because every observer in the universe perceives what these things are relative to their POV and their capabilities for perception. How you, as an incarnate human, perceives the universe around you has a great deal to do with the physical structure of humanity.

To consider just how different living forms have different views of Time, consider just how the lifespans of various living systems (organisms) affects that system's ability to perceive its surrounding universe.

Comments? Isn't it interesting how the life-system that has the longest lifespan on our planet is the TREE? Perhaps this is yet another "hint" that the Tree is the key to Life?

I checked out that site and yes the Bristle Cone Pine Tree in Nevada is THE OLDEST DISCOVERED LIVING THING ON THE PLANET sitting some 4,000 feet above sea level. Methuselah and Prometheus are dated to be approximately 4,000 and 5,000 years old! INCREDIBLE!!!

The question arises logically: Why is it that we can't find anything older than this tree, or more trees like it? Maybe its just the threshhold of tree life, or perhaps because of the Flood?

What may be even more incredible is that even these ancient trees were not living in 10,500 BC when we have clear evidence of advanced civilizations having been in existence, and building, at this Time. The Giza Plateau and the Temples of Angkor Watt both point to this Timeframe, by positions of the stars at 10,500 BC.

Are you going to answer Keven's question about the Flood, or should I?

Kevin, I think its about time you get some new pants, they're kinda short. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I agree Ray, there is strong evidence of a highly knowledgeable advanced post civilization around that time. The prediluvian patriarch Enoch is mentioned as one of the most famous characters of the previous time cycle. Father of Methuselah and great grandfather of Noah, Enoch is credited in the Bible as architect of the original Zion as well as inventor of the alphabet and calendar. Enoch is also historys first astronaut, who "is taken aloft by the Lord" and shown "the secrets of earth and heaven". He returns to earth with the "weights and measures" for all humankind. Also known to the Egyptians as Thoth.

Enoch had the keys to a lost language...A language of light and waveform configurations...given the name of Hiburu...

Hence the name Methuselah given to a 5000 year old Tree...

Well, I'm quit sure Kevin is going to be even more knee deep after this paragraph. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Yes, I agree. By describing it this way I can relate to your theory that Time, Space and Mass are "illusions". I think I posted something somewhat similar a while ago. The way people perceive time varies througout their lives and is unique for every individual. For instance, when I was young it seemed like days were years when I was waiting for my birthday to come. When you're bored, time seems to pass slower. And these are just a few simple, explainable examples of how perception of time is relative.

Ray, of course you know better!
That's just your mind instinctively looking for patterns. Just like the 10-finger remark you posted the other day.

Hehehe, there you go again CAT
Keven is his name and I doubt that he needs new pants. Do you Keven?

Enoch is also historys first astronaut
Until proven otherwise, I say Yuri Gagarin was the first astronaut (or actually a cosmonaut). However, I do think there's a possibility that there were other (older) civilizations capable of spacetravel.

Well, I'm quit sure Kevin is going to be even more knee deep after this paragraph.

I think he's safe on the Ark
