How did you hear about TTI?

I think I found out about TTI wayyyyy back when on Art Bell's old Post-to-Post forums. I missed the whole Titor saga and stumbled upon his thread there, then ended up here when someone mentioned his original posts. I've been a long-time lurker on a LOT of sites, so my 2012 registration date doesn't mean I've only been around for 3 years... I've been reading the posts here for well over a decade!

 
I can't pinpoint the exact date or how I found it but, sometime in 2012 I read at a random brazilian news website an article about that "hipster time traveler" picture. From there I got to Titor. I think they mentioned him. I spent a year reading about him and somehow this whole time I didn't know TTI existed, mostly because information on Titor translated to portuguese, (the language we speak in Brazil), isn't very accurate. A lot of people here think Art Bell is a woman, or an internet company for some reason. After a while I stumbled across a website in English and that's when I realized I was looking in the wrong place, or should I say, the wrong language. From there, all my searches were in english and at some point of 2013 I found the Institute. I didn't register for a year when I finally decided I had to last year. Yay!

 
I await with amusement if/when a member replies with the old & tested, "I heard about TTI in my past, your future, i.e. the year 5520 AD", lol.

 
I chose Google because I was researching Titor and found out about the forums that way. Well, it could be either Google or other website. Hmmm....

 
Awwww.... I read it wrong. I thought it said "how did you hear about TT?". And I was getting all caught up trying to remember my first encounter with the concept of time travel (probably BTTF in the cinema, but I'm not sure)...

I had in mind to visit and become a member on TTI when I first read an article in a Greek magazine called Phenomenons (title translated) about John Titor !!!

 
i have been studying physics and the basic principals of time for a short amount of time before finding this site. after finding this site i almost become with time travel and cant get enough of this site and shared it with many of my friends. THIS SITE ROCKS!!!

I came across TTI thru the Titor story.

Then after the Titor story faded...the physics of the story took a front seat.

After that I just began to read....and read...and read hahaha

What is the coolest thing physics has taught you thus far?

 
I learned about TTI through my husband, Cosmo, about 4 years ago. Cosmo told me the John Titor story and we began discussing the theory a little bit. It is something that was interesting because I have a little background in hard sciences as well.

Just received an email telling me it was back active once again. I do tend to think that time travel is real and that a very few humans have been given access to the technology. I spoke with Leo Zagami about this subject and he said it was real and it was given to a select few in the Illuminati as a reward for their protection from us scary humans. Dan Sherman claims to have been told the same from an alien and My teachers brother-in-law Phil Corso to him the same thing. Jim Sparks said he was told it was true and well as Andrew Basiago. Not sure if I believe Andy? Until I travel back and forth in time I will keep an open mind and not an empty head about the subject.
