How did you first encounter "time travel"?

I am not assuming you live amongst time travellers. What I mean is, how did you first learn about the idea of "time travel"? I have a feeling I first hit upon it when watching Back To The Future in the cinema as a small child, but I am not entirely sure...

Doctor Who. Tom Baker. Also, I watched Cosmos when I was young. Always had an interest in science.

 
When I was a child, I had a time travel fantasies, without knowing, that I am not the only one, who ever was thinking about time travel. :) I was very surprised to understand, that it was a long time developed science fiction. :)

 
The first thing that really got me interested was another internet phenomena, about 13 books, and a man named islington. I cant remember all the details any more but I think it turned out to be some kind of game similar to Cicada.

 
when i first noticed that i could connect with myself through my recordings, not time travel, but time travel communication became apparent so. I forget when I first learn of time traveling, it would be either with the dragonball Z android arc or before that airing in USA tvs since that anime had time travel in it. But I'm thinking it was with some old cartoons, possibly the megaman tv show since that had a episode where a future megaman went back in time to stop something from happening.

 
Confession: I never actually saw Back to the Future. But it was probably the first time I ever heard of time travel as a concept. Later on in life I read books like The Time Machine, Slaughterhouse-Five, and Time Enough for Love, which made me realize how much time travel was employed in so much of my favorite fiction/entertainment without my really being aware of it.

 
I was in the 4th grade and took a nap in the summer. I had no idea my mom left the house. I remember getting up and and realizing things were quiet and I sat down on the kitchen chair and watched her put up the groceries and picked up a magazine she had bought. The next thing I knew my mom was waking me up and I was asking her why she didn't wake me to go with her and I told her about being in the kitchen with her and watching her and looking at her magazine. She told me I was not in the kitchen with her and asked how I knew she even left the house and put up the groceries and when I told her about the magazine she wondered how I knew because she had put it away.

 
my mom told me that...when i was really young i said to my mom "yesterday i really had fun and i will have it again yesterday"

I honestly don't remember. Either I thought it up myself, or I ran across it in some book, video game, TV show, movie, or paranormal forum.

 
It was either time tunnel tv show or planet of the apes. Sorry if I gave away the planet of the apes theme and you hadn't seen it.

It might have been rush anthem , the live album with 2112 on it.

Truth is that I have no idea and need a time travel device to send me back to find out the best answer.

its been happening for 30+ years

although I recently came to the conclusion that I first encountered time travel around 2yo

 
3 months ago i watched "Back to the Future" for the first time and i noticed logical flaws that should have made sense to any person with half a brain. after that moment i dedicated myself to help prove the existence of time travel.

 
The first time I heard of time travel was with the classic "Back to the Future" movies. TV shows like "X-Files" and "Unsolved Mysteries" introduced me to concepts of missing time which continues to fascinate me. I was really inspired by the movie " What the Bleep Do We Know?". It was the "Mandela Effect" that caught my attention when searching for why I remember the "Berenstein Bears" to be spelled with a "EI". The idea of parallel universe was how I found the TTI. I enjoy reading about others who find the mysterious interesting.
