Hi everyone, I was just wondering...

Juan FR

Temporal Novice
Hello everyone, my name is Juan, I'm 23 years old and I'm from Colombia (so please excuse me if my english is not perfect).

I had an amazing time reading some of the threads on this forum and I can note that there are great minds among you (or us since I already joined the board).

I was just wondering if there is any chance to make some kind of time travel nowadays. I was thinking that if we are not allowed to transport matter between time and space how about sending information to either the future or the past? I'm no scientist but how data is transfered nowadays could be accelerated using some "mini black hole" so it would reach the neccesary speed to fraction space and time? that way when the data is de-accelerated it would be in a different time?

Maybe in the near future we will be able to do this making it the first "time travel" experiences?

Welcome Juan. Right now we're talking about the implications of time travel. We should talk about viewing the past first before we talk about sending things into the past.

Bienvenido Juan!!!!!

What you are talking about has more to do with quantum teleportation, in which you send information from one place to another point in the whole universe (at least in theory). I am sure in the near future that will be the way to go with info....we'll be able to send data back and forth (think on the implications and possibilities, the very universe will change as a result to that!)
