In some of my personal p.m.s here, I have noticed that the party that I had sent a pm to, had this message being read three to four times.

I feel that there are disrupters here, present on this board, who are hacking into this main database.

I suggest at this point, that you all change your passwords frequency.

Secondly one time only, to that party give a special code number, like 364B for example and tell them to place this code word, on paper and not in their p.c.

If they don't give you the correct codeword, then don't talk with them in a pm.

If their e-mail message still has the same identity, but they talk to you kind-of weird, say purposely misspelling words, of using clunky English, I'd watch that association also?

I have had my pm compromised it seems and I'm from now on, going to stick to the measures that I suggesting here.
 
I have not experienced such attacks but I do think that putting every users IP address at the top of each post is the dumbest thing I've ever saw. It really gives anyone with malicious intent a nice jump start on the hack. It's a useless feature that should be disabled by the admins on this site. I don't see why anyone would want to hack your account on here but I could see how they would want to get into your pc and an IP and determination is all that's really needed for that. None the less, this site is one of my favorites and I will continue to visit and post, regardless.

Maybe there was certain progress here at TTI, made in time travel investigations, that they would want to put goons in here?

Who do you mean by 'goons'. If you mean what i think you do, then i don't think anyone on this forum has anything to worry about.

Theres really no 'sensitive' information on this forum that would warrant any interest from outside parties, that may be monitoring the internet.

Unless you just mean kids etc are plaing around with PM's?
