Although the identity of John Titor remains a mystery... My identity will not... Although the mystery part was fun...

Strange Events starting with the 1st of 2006 have made me reevaluate my need to keep my identity a secret.

I think it would be better if it was possible to track me down in case I disappear, rendered or forceably committed as 'Mr. X' in the Oliver Stone movie JFK was so concerned about... /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I think the time travel or 'conspiracy theory' community as Ray classifies me should remember who I am/was /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

As Ray invited me to his 2006 Titor party, I offer Ray the opportunity to do 'lunch' if he can track me down...

Now for the hints
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My IP addresses are trackable now ... Find the IP Addresses in the most recent messages - Find the Town I live in... Not my home of course sorry... Using public computers now... /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I use an alias 'Jon Mick' for internet, professional and privacy purposes... My real name is John Mc[Something]

I am a co-inventor of 'Check Imaging' Use the USPTO database.. You get my name and hometown that way...

I am a former VP of a major wall street bank's technology think tank... Digital Imaging and Systems Design was my expertise... It may or may not have something to do with David Rockefeller /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif But that was before merger mania... /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I am in my early 40's

I may or may not have vague resemblance to Russell Crowe with a beard /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif He can play me in any future movie projects /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So Ray,

If you can track me down and on the East Coast, lets do lunch... I think we have hit a 'bump' in our relationship recently... Maybe we can work it out in person... Of course you would have to have your unversity and corporate IDs with you /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

We can have our picture taken by all the alphabet soups... /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif And some 'private contractors' /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

P.S. Roel knows my real name, description and the town I live in... for Judging Purposes /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

HA! /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif Good one, CigMan!

But the only question that really matters is: Are you buying lunch? /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Actually, I'm going in the opposite direction (Australia) for several weeks on April 19th. But if I get bored this summer after I get back from the Barrier Reef, maybe I'll come looking for you... that is if YOU are buying lunch (at the Waldorf-Astoria, I might suggest)?

What "effort"?

You hand fed the details and I have the US Patent Office marked as a Favorite. It took about five minutes to read your post, point and click the USPTO search engine, copy and paste the result into my post and send it.

I didn't offer any commentary because I didn't necessarily identify "you". Its always a possibility that you reversed the process and did the USPTO search first, jotted down the details and crafted a post to appear to identify yourself as "John McMonagle".

The connection between the Central Intelligence Agency (or any other government agency) and a large US bank? I don't think that I'm surprised any more than I'd be surprised that the Bank of America, CITIBank or any other bank has a working relationship with a government agency.

Law enforcement, intelligence agencies and the military do, in fact, have working relationships with banks - both overt and covert. If nothing else, one has to pay bills and one has to build covers. Having a cover that states that one is associated with the "Farmer's Co-Op Bank of What's Happening Now" might be a bit on the weak side of being able to blow the cover.

I'm personally not concerned about any such relationship.

But you were dangling some sort of bait (that I'm not currently disposed to bite on
) - so why don't you just lay it out for us to consider?

BTW: I don't actually recall that anyone was curious about your "real" identity (though I might have missed someone asking about it).

You must have had some point associated with your (somewhat questionable) disclosure. Why did you think that anyone was curious about your identity, what was your reason for the disclosure and what doe it have to do with "Time Travel Discussion"?

Dan,

In no way, even in my widest imagination, would I ever steal anything from a wizard.

People who have had this experience have come out on the short end.

Hey - I've stolen from a wizard. It was a Level 4 Wizard and I had a high enough "Pick Pocket" level for my 35th level Empath (weird training for an Empath but I had lots of training points to "waste").

But I gave the Wizard a nudge and returned the coins. I'd saved his life from bleeding to death and he "forgot" to tip his healer.

The old days of Gemstone III...

Ciggy,
Sorry, Ray.... No Royalties for me... I was 'work for hire' You're the one with so many different employers You buy...
Hang on a sec... you were formerly a VP for a major NYC bank and you can't spring for lunch for a guy who would fly (on his own nickel) from the Best Coast to the East Coast to meet you? Apparantly, the stereotype about liberals being cheap may be quite true! /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

For the record (and with your own research you can verify this): Outside of my side-job teaching for the CSU (which is not very good $ and barely pays for my gas to commute to school, I might point out) I have only ever had one employer at a time handing me a paycheck. I have worked for myself on occasion as an expert witness for aviation accident cases, but that is it. NEVER have I EVER received a check from any "alphabet soup" agency of the Federal Government... and you can take that to your Manhattan bank, Mr. Jon Mik!

But I am quite flattered that you think my online persona is convincing enough to be a spook! Maybe I should give the CIA a call! /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hey Cig man you are beginning to sound like the Joker - riddle me this, riddle me that, who's afraid of the big, black Bat? (Or is it Cat?)

I’m so green-eyed that I’ve changed my Avatar to contend with yours! /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If you really say whom you say you are than we have met! Oh yes, in fact you referred to me as young and aspiring, but with such beauty, that I dont need talent…

I’ll have a White Russian, no ice, no vodka... hold the Kahlua. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Darby:Why yes Creedo, I dress up like a Leprechaun every once in a while.

By the way, that's one big spermatozoa your putting into your icecube tray?!

Creedo:Yes' I know, I caught it the other day and kept it in the back yard, till I could find an icecube tray, large enough.
