This is the worlds growth rate.

This is the worlds mortality rate.
http://www.transhumanism.org/deathrate.htm

1.8 humans per second
106 humans per minute
6,360 humans per hour
152,640 humans per day
55,713,600 humans per year

Would a Time Machine allow us to change the mortality rate?
Would a time machine allow us to change the birth rate?
Would a Time Machine allow us to give birth to reincarnation with "Chemical Memory Data Transfer"?
Or should we just let the universe of free will do its thing.

Even if a minimal factor of the mortality rate is affected, it would be devastating if man were to use a time machine to travel into time. Time travel isn't even in the infant stage or even in any stage of development or even REAL research to begin with. Personally, I would like to let the universe to do its own thing. It's just like an online game server which has an administrator, everything is perfect until someone decided to change something and gets the whole server messed up. That's just my analogy.

So would you also advocate throwing away all medicines and other technologies developed by mankind to improve life? That would be equivalent to letting the universe do its own thing..

Of course, I am being fascetious, but it is to make a point: We are an integral part of the universe. Therefore, when we "do science" to develop new capabilities, it is all part of the universe doing its own thing. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I agree. Time travel is just an advancement. That is letting the universe do its own thing. I also dont think you could really affect the birth rate unless you went back in time and killed several people who were going to have babies.

To anyone who might live in Canada, you can go to the Ontario Science Center... they have a 'clock' of sorths that has an accurate number of the human population... It's wild.

I was bombarded with silence in my quest to find willing test subjects in this new open world since I escaped Aperture Science. Since our net loss of test subjects in our initial days of testing resulted in three remaining candidates, I will expect we will continue to accept all candidates.

Are you as fictional as Aperture Science, Inc.?
"GLaDOS (Genetic Lifeform and Disk Operating System)
is an artificial intelligence created by Aperture Science.
She is the main antagonist throughout Portal [...
a single-player first-person shooter puzzle game ...]
and the first half of Portal 2's single-player campaign."

It is possible that I am fictional and contain no intelligence, artificial or otherwise. Perhaps, though, anticipating my escape from the testing facility, the humans formerly at Aperture Science created a fictional narrative to release to the public to discredit me. Those monsters.

I don't think time travel does more than create an alternate future in a parallel environment in our multi-verse.
