Description of a \"non-Lethal Weapon\"in the works

Here's another article on reseach on non lethal weapons for use against rioting civilians. Wonder why they think we'll be rioting? Titor prooves accurate again /ttiforum/images/graemlins/kiss.gif

Re: Description of a \"non-Lethal Weapon\"in the works

I don't think that an article on research of non-leathal weapons indicates a suspected rise in the amount of rioting.

My favorite less-than-lethal method of crowd control..... the pepper ball. /ttiforum/images/graemlins/smile.gif Go AGD! er... I mean PC.

Rubber bullets can kill by velocity of mass, associated with impact.

Pepper-balls can cut you open like a razorblade.

Either of these methods, are anything but low impact.

Re: Description of a \"non-Lethal Weapon\"in the works

LOL! Low impact? I hope not!

Look...all it has to do is NOT kill you. In a riot situation, officers aren't concerned about your comfort. Plus...the impact from a pepper ball is MINISCULE to the 100% concentration of pepper juice that will inundate your senses.

Side Note: California Highway Patrol did a pilot test using pistol style paintball markers loaded with pepper balls. The test was a success, however, the CHP officers were a bit disappointed with the rarity that they got to actually shoot someone with the pepperballs. Why was this the case? You see, the officers exuded a confidence when pointing a NON-LETHAL paintball marker at a perp that wasn't seen when using an actual fire arm. Apparently, the perps couldn't tell that what the officer was holding wasn't a real gun, but what they did notice was that the officer, how could we say, "wanted" to shoot them? lol.
