There was an interesting caller to George Noory's show on the 22'nd or 23'rd of November 2006. A lady named (I believe) Velma, called in and said she had been watching the parade from an underpass near the T.D. building.
She said she saw a Dallas PD officer tell a man in a gray car to move, and he finally did after the cop got off his cycle and went over to tell him to move or else.
During the excitement she saw a man holding a rifle at present arms position run out of the book depository and apparently head to where the gray car had been parked. Seeing it not these, he then ran off down the street at full speed.
Velma said she did not previously report the sighting to anyone, because at the time (she was about 42)she had two children and didn't want to get shot. Her phone call to Coast-to-Coast AM was the first time she had publicly revealed it.
Quite important if true.
