I've been reading a thing or two about these Annukai, but I'm not sure if this is a human or alien conspiracy, or truly something outside of my own understanding.

So tell me - without T12's penchant for long-windedness - WHO are the Annukai? WHERE do they come from? WHAT do they do? And if at all possible an illustration or description of them physically. Any explanation of their technology would also be helpful.
 
I'd suggest you drop a quick note to Thor Heyerdahl, and invite him over for a nice dinner and cognac. He's great company, a good friend, and can tell you a story about the Annunaki that makes them sound like Binx.
