Columbia University was founded in 1754 as King's College by royal charter of King George II of England. It is the oldest institution of higher learning in the state of New York and the fifth oldest in the United States.

Controversy preceded the founding of the College, with various groups competing to determine its location and religious affiliation. Advocates of New York City met with success on the first point, while the Anglicans prevailed on the latter. However, all constituencies agreed to commit themselves to principles of religious liberty in establishing the policies of the College.

Iranian Speech Controversy Raging On?

Obviously there is a serious philosphical disagreement between the Zionists and Iranians...

If the Iranians don't want Zionists in the country (controlling it), I don't see the problem...

From an American or Eastern European standpoint, many Arabian area individuals look "EVIL" to us...

I think that is the case with the Iranian President as as well problems in Iraq and Afghanistan...

They are great for "casting" purposes in the American Media as "villians"

As far as I can tell, Iran wants to rid its country, region or the world of evil Zionists not necessarily against all jewish people..

He is not the first leader to launch investigate or raise alarms about Zionists or Jewish Oligarchies...



And lets look at the President of Columbia Lee Bollinger... Sounds and looks alittle waspy right? WRONG.

And then I saw in the paper the Daily News or a news wire that the IDF (Israeli Defense Force) was one of the main protestors... Probably along with other jews or supporters of Israeli.

Sounds like an attempt at media manipulation and prompt government response to the "public" outcry or concern...

I didn't think the PBA, FMBA, or other Union groups protestings? Not even Mothers Against Drunk Driving?...
