Cesium Clocks

johntitor.com has these 4 links to info about cesium clocks. 5 orders of magnitude more accurate than normal atomic clocks. The size of the grain of rice. Pretty boring stuff. Were people building these back 4 years ago?

"JOHN - NOV. 7, 2000: The C204 unit uses 4 cesium clocks. The C206 uses 6 cesium clocks but they use an optical system to check the oscillation frequency. This makes the worldline divergence confidence much higher.

JOHN - NOV. 7, 2000: The C204 uses the second as the basic unit of measure. The C206 may be capable of .05 sec."

For a while that site only posted good links but now they post anything and everything.. These clocks had me wondering though.

Ahh, re-reading the first article I see that they have a new clock that doesn't use cesium that is much more accurate than the cesium clocks they have today. The other three articles are talking about some guys new tiny cesium clock that is very very slow. Not good Titor links.. Sorry.
