Here's a preview of the culture catalog. This one is for movies, but games and books and everything else will follow a similar format.

Notice the "Method of Time Travel" field. This is used in filtering, so specific kinds of time travel content can be found. We may add additional metrics later, but this is a good start.

Also notice the Amazon and eBay links. These will use affiliate links to be useful to visitors and help earn a few bucks.

I'll post more updates as they come. Nearly there I think.

The format I previewed above is going to require a lot more tedious data entry than I expected, so I'm simplifying my approach a little. I've purchased these two plugins:

The layout isn't the best, and I'll do some surgery on the template to make it look nicer. While it doesn't do EVERYTHING my little imagination conjured up when putting things back together, it functions and it gets the data in fast. I'd also rather not have a big empty hole where things eventually "will be". Launched vs. perfect.

 


Please do not add movies and stuff yet - I need to study the templating a little first and make sure entries won't require manual adjustments later.

This is almost ready, but there is a bug between the plugin and the theme we use. Template modifications aren't applying properly, so posters aren't properly showing in the thread list. Waiting on a fix and then we can get some movement on it.

Alright, I managed to figure out the bug myself and got the template mostly working. A little weirdness with the ratings but the posters and info show, which was the initial problem
