I remember hearing about a movie... in the late 80s or 90s...

Premise: 2 friends make pact to do something... if not married by 30 years old

Male Character: Named Tom, John or first name McGonagle

I thought Garofalo or Thurman play the female lead or supporting characters...

But I can't find it on IMDB.

Shoot I think I know which movie you speak of but not the name.it might be my best friends wedding.. but I am not too sure ...if you take the premise to google im sure you could find it.
