It is a skill learned in the gateway process. What it does is put your body to sleep but keeps you aware in your consciousness!
It works. how do I know? My body twitches like I am sleep! And I sometimes snore! But I am 100% aware of what is going on inside my head. It's black. Sometimes I see auras. Sometimes I see images. It's amazing. And when I'm done, I feel refreshed like I had a nap!

Science, technology, follow a known pattern. First trials and errors, then a step is achieved - what I call a brick. From there, someone creates another brick. When enough bricks exist, a genius mind create a milestone. It seems that humankind, after thousands years, suddenly created more bricks than ever before, thanks to geniuses who build on previous bricks and thought out of the box. So my point is, I do understand time travel will be the result of piling bricks, but there’s always some kind of mastermind who makes a breakthrough. Einstein’s legacy is a brilliant set a bricks, but who will get to crack the actual technology?
Einstein's work has a lot of influence on time and space and the concept of how a time machine works, but the general principle has more in common with Tipler's cylinders

let's say trump merges the military with state police forces and musk attacks the USA with robots.
The uniforms trumps forces would wear would have to be a hybrid of combat body armour to fight the robots and riot gear to keep the resistance in check. So, it would have to be custom manufactured.
Trump already wiped out half of Musk's wealth, so musk can't build many robots.
