Who read "Timeline" by Michael Crichton? How accurate are the theories he uses in this book?
Of course, it's not real time-travel, but travelling between multiple dimensions that he's writing about.

I read it but think your mixing your personal beliefs into a novel on time travel. I don't think dimensions were involved.

I read it. His treatment of time travel was as good as it gets. The methods proposed for achieving it, to me, seemed absurd. I really doubt that frying something with mega-lasers and using a super computer to keep track of the smoke would ever make anything more usefull than a high tech garbage disposal.

Timeline is a good NOVEL. If you want the skinney on TT try a text book titled Modern Physics or the like.
