I just found this message board and have not had the time to read all of it but thought I would throw in my 2 cents worth.
Maybe some of you have heard the example of the pizza pie and skipping a second but only near something like the Big Bang, the gravity would let you skip a second but only near such a phenomenon which would make it practical.
How do I know this? I watch the Discovery Channel from time to time.
