I strongly believe that in order to travel back and forth into time the very first thing that Scientist need to figure out is:
- How can we transform an object or mass back and forth into atoms?

Once we figure that out, then we can worry about how to move it from one area to the other without damaging or loosing any of it's mass.

Ummm... masses are made up of atoms already. So there's no conversion - they're the same thing.
