I am running short on time, coincidentally, as I have educational priorities to attend to. I am writing to please ask people to be reasonable. I have been following these boards occasionally for a number of years because of my specific interest in time travel and the unexplained. A trend I seem to see on these boards and elsewhere are people claiming to either be from the future or selling time machines. I would like to remind anyone who is capable of rational thinking that if someone had successfully built a time machine, they would have absolutely no need to sell it, much less on the Internet for that matter.
Now, as far as people who claim to have experience in time travel due to their journey to Montauk, Long Island: I have previously posted on this. At the age of 16 I was fortunate enough to vacation with my family to Montauk. I have been to this base. It is not some secret, hidden, fantasy world that these capitalistic book authors are monopolizing on. As a matter of fact, the base is very much abandoned. Montauk is a town that is built atop bedrock. What does this mean, you ask? Well it means that there is absolutely no way to build an underground labyrinth anywhere in that area. It should almost be noted that the reason people occasionally see the satellite dish moving is because it has been left in free-fall mode. I have done much research on this topic and would rather be much more concerned with the biological contamination that seems to have occurred on that soil and in the neighborhoods surrounding the base.
My goal is not to debase any theories, but merely to emphasis the importance of rational thinking and scientific research.
