This is sort of a solution to my previous posting based on the problem dealing going back to the exact position you came from only without the comfort of having an atmosphere...
Anyway it is based on the theory of only going back in exact years. Of course the fact that the earth's orbit constantly changes slightly and the fact that the universe is expanding still poses a problem. Prehaps some way of making the destination looking for a particular gravitational force, namely the earth.
