I dont understand?

I'm extremely interested in time travel but just starting to think and learn about it. I am not quite clear on the idea of looking back at the earth from a black hole and being able to see the light from thousands of years ago and able to view it as what happend in the past?

and for a good movie about this stuff I highly recommend "Donnie Darko"

Well these guys are little ass holes they don't care about us little wimp dumb assess that don't know [censored] about all this stuff. I wrote a post quiet some time ago writing what I thought about time and no one made a single comment. They seem to only talk to those that have some knowledge on all this stuff, I mean look at all their posts they all write like if they where scientist or some [censored] like that. We just pretty much have to sit here and just read their posts without getting on their way.

Time travel could be possible, I personaly believe that the universe would collaps if anyone actually pull it off, I am more a "multipal world" theory kind of guy

*sigh* All these people talk of the most outrageous theories, and I come in with one that can actually be DONE in the next couple hundred years and nobody understands it.

First, you need to understand Einsteins theory of relativity. Light travels at a constant speed, about 300000 meters per second. Now, if you could measure the light that hit the earth way back in 1 AD, then you would find it would be 2003 light years away from this planet by now. This means if you could TRAVEL 2003 light years away, right now, instantaneously, you would be able to see what was going on in 1 AD. However, you cannot accomplish this by conventional means, meaning you need to use black holes. Black holes, well, try to watch the movie 'event horizon' and you will see what I am talking about. However, no, I dont believe hell exists in black holes. Basically, you travel vast distances in a blink.

To section 8, shutup if you dont have any theories of your own. I think you should disprove mine before it gets too circulated, because I am having a hard time disproving it myself. As for me personally, I would be much more comfortable knowing the boundaries of the laws of physics. But thats just me, unlike some guy named Steven Hawkings.
