I used to think in the way you think, you are right in one way, but the time travel we are talking now is to go back in time so that we can do or correct something happened in the past. Different people have different point of views, for me, I hope to go back to correct something.

You don't have to travel back in time to change the past. Just compare current history books to older history books and you'll see some profound changes.
