Grid Point,World Grid,Planetary Grid?Grid Sandwich!

ive heard those used left and right when refering to UFOs,TimeTravel...pretty much anything paranormal,or slightly off normal..
in the prolly 8 books ive read on time travel,ALL of them refered to one of the Grid Words

Somebody Explain the difference,IF there is one?
