We read your site - we followed link you gave us further down the board.
Sorry to say this but even if we did do this, then we would only alter a alternate reality which will not exist the minute we leave anyway. Telling yourself something will make no difference to you, as your conscince will remain "as" the person travelling and never "switch" to this person were going back to see, even if it is yourself.
Anyway, out of all the dimensions out there every possible event between those times willl have happened, buy you conscience will still and always be at the time now and never divert back to a "past time".
The journey would be pointless as what ever you wanted to do will have already happened, and if you are still not convinced then all we have to sdo is find the dimension where things did go right.
Basically the past doesn't exist. Think about it - where is it? It eixsted for a "moment", or what seemed to be existence, in what we may call the present. Now it's gone. And the only place it still exists is in your mind (conscience).
Where is the future? It's not here either. The future will be the past -no matter how distant or near the "future" is. Logically, we can say that the only place anything exists is in our minds, actiually our consicence. That is the only metaphysical place we can say that somehting that no longer exists, exists. We remember it, it's there.
You can't go back and change things. Sorry. Even if we did, would we still remember what went wrong? And if we did then technically things didn't go right. And if we do forget the part about things going wrong, how do we know that there was a problem in the first place if we can't remember anyhting?
Especially as we are talking about "love" as you say, well - your a better theorist than us if you can use that word confidently.
Love really does conquer all.
