if the universe is finite,and is indeed curved as our best scolars point out,then it must be held in that shape by some form of energy, energy has mass,mass has gravity,mass atracts mass= particles=larger mass,.... yes but where did the energy come from? either it has always been there,and our concept of nothing is wrong,or a vast a mount of space produces energy.

10,000 years of human history have failed to answer the question of "where did it all come from" so don't spend too much time on it.

I've spent my whole life trying to get 'something from nothing'. It's a tough nut to crack in the practical sense too.
