Hypothetically speaking:
If there’s a real traveler on this forum, what would you ask him/her?
I would have started by asking him how his time machine was working. The additional factors would include a few fascinating facts or events about his timeline.
I would ask him whether it is possible to travel through time in the past and if the answer will be known soon. I would insist that he visit the future in order to discover a means of time travel to the past.
