Our family has really enjoyed watching a channel on Youtube called Townsends. This guy scours through old recipe books and demonstrates how dishes at the time would have been prepared and served.

All of his videos are great though, and he does an excellent job explaining context and why things might have been done a particular way. It’s a great resource to get an understanding of the period, and food (something we can all relate to) is a great way to do that.
