  1. Re: A reason I'm out of here, and Chronohistorian and similar posters are the reason. This board needs some more discipline to function properly. Otherwise Chronic et al will continually appear in every conceivable thread and that just isn't good enough for me. No offence. cya l8r.
  2. I am leaving the BBS, for good. The constant spamming and random incoherent posts are not really worth wading through. A BBS is in big, big trouble when an obvious spammer and troll can go to 740+ posts in 2 1/2 months whilst other posters of similar vintage are still at half that total. I have PMed, reported and complained because otherwise there is no basis for challenging the misconduct. This has resulted in nothing happening. I am a bit too busy to want to "unwind" by wading through a load of rubbish. If Chronohistorian and the other lesser spammers continue to dominate this board, t
  3. Re: NOSTRADAMUS I think that translations that are less forced make more sense, and then of course they are less likely to be fulfilled by events of our own time... I was intrigued by the "paymaster king" translation rather than "king of terror" for the infamous 1999 quatrain, leaving the only even remotely likely meaning the obscure visit of Clinton to New Zealand to allow China into the WTO - resuscitating China's economy and with it the "King of the Mongols"? Whatever. I think it would be easier to use actual common sense and logic to predict the future, personally. I am prepared t
  4. NOSTRADAMUS Does anyone believe in the Nostradamus predictions any more? Does anyone subscribe to the latest possible "according to the liturgy" dating system which would put his predictions as beginning circa 2002 and unfolding through 2012 to 2028?
  5. Re: More John Titor evidence... er... OR IS IT? sp laughing out loud... seriously. :)
  6. mate, now I am talking to you. For the last time. I have found the wee little button where I can report your posts. Every time you spam from now on in any thread I view, I am hitting that button. End. Of. "Conversation".
  7. Re: More John Titor evidence... er... OR IS IT? sp no... me screwing Sherilyn Fenn - that's exceedingly unlikely. Titor's claims are BALONEY in my opinion. -J :)
  8. GO AWAY. Mods - I hereby report Chronohistorian for spamming... again. He was not being spoken to, nor was he asked for any response. He is clearly spamming, and attempting to hijack threads. This is not freedom of speech, it is destructive obsessive-compulsive behaviour. Set some boundaries and ban him. PS as my complaints could be construed as a form of spamming, I apologise - but there is no PM function on the offending posts to report the offending poster with.
  9. Re: Calling all time travellers from 2003 and earl GO AWAY. Mods - I hereby report Chronohistorian for spamming... again. He was not asked for any response he instead invited reprimand for pointlessly eliding a thread. He is clearly spamming, and attempting to hijack threads. This is not freedom of speech, it is destructive obsessive-compulsive behaviour. Set some boundaries and ban him.

  12. Re: Calling all time travellers from 2003 and earl Yes, you are.
  13. Re: More John Titor evidence... er... OR IS IT? sp Yes, an epidemic of CJD, even one caused by a "sleeper" infection over decades, seems unlikely to me. Certainly, there will be more cases of it, and more than we expect no doubt. But consider the lung cancer / cigarette saga. It seems fairly clear that yes indeed smoking increases the risk of lung cancer spectacularly, and yes indeed lung cancer is more common in our culture than in cultures that don't have smoking as part of their behaviour. But even with a clear linked condition like lung cancer there is not an "epidemic" of the condit
  14. Beef firm faces perplexing resistance to mad cow tests Creekstone Farms Premium Beef is a small producer of high-quality beef in Kansas. But it's making a big point about mad cow disease. It wants to privately test all of the cattle it slaughters for the illness, which can cause a fatal brain disease in humans who eat infected meat. The way Creekstone Farms sees it, 100% testing would reassure U.S customers. The company also says it is talking with Japan about restarting exports there, where total testing is required. But the firm has run into surprising obstacles: from the federal gover
  15. chronic - you've made your specific predictions so run along wanker out of the thread. Or I guess i will start PMing the Mods about you. And it's about time. Ironically.
