Hi Mop, Can this board add a feature, allowing users to write a letter or message to self, and keep it in database, and then deliver the message and email after a period of time, like 1 year, 2 years, 5 years , or 10 years so on, so that the visitors can receive a message from self of the past? Thanks heaps for the new board, it looks beautiful, by the way I remember someone post the screenshot of this new blue layout, back in time when i was still using the old purple board a few years back 😉 Kind regards, Servantx

The Time Travel Claims section is temporarily closed to new submissions. This section will reopen for new claims with a revamped time traveler onboarding system. New features will include a way to remain anonymous, but retain the ability to respond to or update a claim and encourage more substantive and interesting first posts. You may still reply to any thread within this forum. Even this one.

I got the Giphy integration for posts working. You'll find this option in the toolbar on the far right... The one that says GIF. Clicking that will open a nice little modal window where you can search for whatever reaction you'd like to add to your post: Welcome to the future!

Never in all my years of being alive have I had conversations simply just disappear. In 2020, I went back to reread emails, facebook chats, skype logs, etc....with certain people I was having years ago about John Titor.... some original people who spoke to him, a few scientists, and TR the author of COTT.... ALL of the content is gone. What I DO know, is this happened back when JT was here. Why is this happening again now? Anyone else notice this?

I've always wanted to run some kind of "play by post" game through the forum, but until now we didn't really have a good foundation to make it work well. Now that we're on this new software, I think there's some potential to do something really fun and interesting. There are some other things on the site that take priority before I can put time into planning this, but I wanted to start a conversation and see what kind of people might be curious or willing to check it out. Apologies for not being very active. A rabbit I loved tremendously died and I am heavily grieving, going through the stages of grief over and over again. I have the curse of possessing an extreme love of animals (I even love an alligator), and it is bittersweet because they bring joy, but when they are gone, it is the worse pain anyone could experience. Even right now, I'm starting to tear up. I don't know when the pain will go away. I've experienced it before, so I know it can take a while. Well, that was fun. The server decided to take a big shit on everything and I'm working on restoring stuff to a new server. Forum is fine, nothing lost. Just an outage. Frontend (articles) is still down but I have a few other sites I need to restore before I do that one. Just an FYI, all good.

I often wake up with a headache, and it seems when I begin reading TTI posts and posting archived posts to the proper categories, my headache starts to go away. I've had an 80% decrease in pain this morning. Just thought I'd share!

Hey everyone! After many years, the Campus Store has returned. We have plans for other cool designs, but the classic TTI logo is a good place to start. If you have any ideas you'd like to volunteer let us know, we'll do it if it sounds cool. I ordered a mug as a test, and it came out perfectly.

It would seem that we need to develop a "Standard Time Traveler Test" for the claimants. I would like to propose that we use the AMS Fireball Sighting Report for this purpose. If any "time traveler claimant" can provide an image of this report one month prior to being posted on the AMS site, that would convince me of a time traveler's claim of being from the future. It would have to include everything as listed on the AMS report, exactly as it would appear when released by the AMS. Any time travelers, ( remote viewers welcome to take a try at this as well ), up for the challenge ? And if you future claimants can read this, then there is no excuse for not knowing…

As tti nears the end, I just wanted to thank everyone that tried to make this site a good place. I've met many friends here that will last a lifetime. I spent nearly 15 years here, and put a lot of time and effort into trying to be a productive member of the community. Through all the crazies, this community had some of the best of the best.
