This Urban Legends forum category is for discussing fantastical time travel tales that have circulated throughout our culture. Discussions here should vibe about things you heard somewhere, or something someone you know has been through. First-hand time travel accounts should be made in the Time Travel Claims section. This category uses prefixes, which help make it easier to find things that are interesting to you. Lol, sorry about the tabloid headlines. Here's a gif version of that woman that disappeared live during an interview! What do you guys think hapenned here? I mean, I'm almost 150% sure that she amazingly and unwinttingly synchronized whatever movement she did with that other woman pasing in front of her. How, I don't know.

Hi y'all, I'm the guy who met up with the user called 'ichtion' (who claimed time travel a few weeks ago on this forum). I helped him around the internet and got him the book he wanted. PS. After reading the previous thread (made by ichtion) I find it kind of funny how you accuse him of tryin to sell the book he mentioned. For crying out loud, that book is useless to anyone except him. Why on Earth would he want anyone to buy that crap? Have any of you even looked in it (Amazon allows you to "look inside"). It's just meaningless from start to finish. Anyway now that he's gone I feel like it's my moral obligation (duty?) to tell you some of what he told me …

I remember reading about a person who posted last October 2019 that they was from the year 2030 something (I don't think it was the Titor 2036 year). This was posted on an internet forum. This person claimed that from 2020 onwards, times were going to be difficult. They said there would be a Superflu that killed millions. They said that the British Royal family would experience troublesome times. I think they said that the Queen would die in Dec 2019 (Obviously got that one wrong) They said that Trump would win 2020 election and that the Democrat Party feel it was unfair/rigged. Riots then ensue (they named the cities/states but I cannot remember). This pers…

Most of you probably know who QAnon is at this point. If you don't... Go look it up. There's another anonymous poster over on 4chan though, and he's been talking about time travel quite a bit lately. His posts get aggregated here: https://paulfurber.net/bda/index.html From their FAQ page: There's a lot of posts, and most of them are worth a read, but here's the time travel ones: Unsure what to make of all of this... But it's interesting to think about. Has anyone else heard of this guy?

Die Glocke, or The Nazi bell, was a supposed German experiment that some people believe to be either a weapon or a time travel device. More information is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Die_Glocke Let's discuss it! Do you think it existed? What was its purpose? There are many theories and photos online, so I won't post them all, but feel free to take a look in Google and let's hear some theories. :) It seems that many believe it looks like this:

The DNA specialist, who's been working with him for a few years, feels he doesn't want the mystery to be solved, since he cut off contact with her. Maybe he's tired of all this? Scared? If they find out who he is, he'll lose his status and fame and probably will piss some people off... (@PaulaJedi where is that thread you started on him? I thought of posting this there but couldn't find it.)

Jaynou Oliver Beck was suppsed to be born on September 12, 2018 and was supposed to become the 56th President of the united states. He is also supposed to be assassinated. These statements were made to Apex Video by an alleged time traveler from 4932. Apex attempted to find a baby named Jaynou Oliver Beck, but could not find any birth records of that name online. Here's a 5 minute video on the topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esomUQhDOm4

This was always one of my favorite urban legends. If you haven't heard of this, allow me to present to you The man from Taured. The Man’s Arrival The story of the ‘Man from Taured’ begins quite specifically in many sources with a hot day in July 1954. On that particular day, a man was said to have arrived at Haneda Airport, known also as Tokyo International Airport. This man has been described as Caucasian looking with a beard. Whilst his primary language is said to have been French, it has been purported that he spoke Japanese and many other languages as well. The sequence of events then differs according to which version of the story one encounters. In one versi…

Sometimes, it seems, people who want to believe in things like the Philadelphia Experiment are so busy chasing down newspaper clips and other obscure documents, they forget to listen to those who were most directly involved. In this case, the Eldridge crew themselves: http://www.aliensonearth.com/misc/1999/mar/d27-001.shtml I've read decades of unsubstantiated drivel on this story. How come no one takes on board (no pun intended) what these dudes are saying?

Two men in 1969 were driving away from Abbeville, Louisiana along an empty road when they approached an antique car driving slowly. The car was 30 years old, yet in mint condition. It had an orange license plate that said nothing but "1940" on it. At first, they didn't believe this was unusual. The car could have come from a car show, so they continued driving. As they passed, they saw a passenger in the car, a woman dressed in vintage 40's clothing, who was panicking. They waved her down and asked if she needed assistance, and she nodded yes. They pulled over, but were confused when they saw their own car on the side of the road as the antique car vanished. The Abbe…

Thu Nov 28 2:27:39 AM PST 1996 Mike Marcum, the Missouri guy who made News of the Weird in 1995 after he stole six power company transformers he said were necessary to make his time machine (so he could find out the winning lottery number and come back and buy a ticket), called a radio show from Nevada in October 1996 and said he was only 30 days away from finishing his invention. His Missouri landlord had evicted him for various electrical misadventures in his apartment.

I began my search for time travel in the weird part of the internet, unexplained events people like John Titor, and Andrew Asiago. Unfortunately they create quite a bit of reasonable doubt. So I turned my eyes towards the physics community, surely some one had to be looking into this. Ronald Mallet had the most internet presence on the subject, though he only had a concept and not a working model. He is also over the age of 70, and from what I’ve heard retired. Also there were some theoretical problems that were pointed out by Marshall Barnes. Marshall Barnes on the other hand has very little Internet presence, all of his videos all seem weird and over the top. Though …

Wasn't sure where to place this topic... I was always a bad speller but I do recall The Berenstein Bears not the spelling of Berenstain Bears. Noticed this inconsistency from an article about the Mandela effect. It made me think, huh...Something so little yet big enough to notice. Growing up as a kid I remember these children's literature characters. Does this strike a nerve with anyone else?

‘TIME-TRAVELER’ BUSTED FOR INSIDER TRADING Wednesday March 19, 2003 By CHAD KULTGEN NEW YORK — Federal investigators have arrested an enigmatic Wall Street wiz on insider-trading charges — and incredibly, he claims to be a time-traveler from the year 2256! Sources at the Security and Exchange Commission confirm that 44-year-old Andrew Carlssin offered the bizarre explanation for his uncanny success in the stock market after being led off in handcuffs on January 28. “We don’t believe this guy’s story — he’s either a lunatic or a pathological liar,” says an SEC insider. “But the fact is, with an initial investment of only $800, in two weeks’ time he had a …
